In 2018, Sound Cadence Studios was approached by Kuma Holdings to produce an English dub for their 2016 auteur Boy's Love anime, This Boy Is A Professional Wizard, from CoMix Wave Films, for their Kuma Telefilms line of teen+ anime releases.

Sound Cadence director Marissa Lenti headed casting and direction for the project. Sound Cadence also provided translation, writing, graphic design, and production services for the title.
